MY BREASTS ARE MORE THAN JUST PUPPIES?
| I have been learning english language for many years and there are so many sayings that a foreigner never really understands, for example "look at those puppies!" I mean imagine how confusing it is for a thai lady when people start talking in this kind of slang and it's even worse for us if they come from Scotland, Newcastle or Birmingham which are really hard to understand on the phone as they talk so fast also. I know it's only 5.15am but I woke early this morning for a pee and after turning on the television and hearing this slang saying it made me smile. We have tv programmes for deaf people where a little lady or man stands on the right hand side lower screen doing sign language and I always turn off when I see this because I can't focus on the film as the little person is really annoying (but of course very necessary if you cannot hear)...it just got me thinking that maybe all programmes should also have a litlle translator at the bottom especially for us foreigners to cover english slang???? Now that's a calming thought!!!!! |
